Hello friends, does anyone know if the Fitipower FC0012 tuner is compatible? I am using DSD + 2.246 ,,,
the program recognizes the tuner FC0012 but recognizes it as unknown and does not show gain,, I am new to this and comment that I have a second r820t tuner that works perfectly

The DSD+ console does say "No supported tuner found"

Can you tune to any known frequency and receive it with FMP24?

The 'FC0012' tuner should be supported via the RTLSDR driver.
Possibly the problem with gain in DSD+ is that the 'FC0012' does not seem able to report any supported gain values which DSD+ maybe expecting.
You may need to manually set the gain option (-g<num>) in your startup batch file to be able to change it.
According to the (RTLSDR) source code of the 'FC0012' tuner, the default gain is 192 (19.2dB) and the other supported gain values are -99, -40, 71, 179.

Contacting DSDPlus may be the better approach as they can inform you if it's supported or could be in future versions.

My problem still continues but found a solution which is annoying to be able to use the integrated FC0012 in the FMP24 application ... to get it to recognize the FC0012 chipset I open an application that serves to change the serial number then I run the FMP24 application and it is The chipset recognizes me, but if disconnected from the USB or restarting the computer does not recognize the FC0012 chipset and enters "Direct sampling mode"

I am wondering if anyone knows the Batch Commands to force the FMP24 program into FC0012 chipset mode?

I am going to comment on my solution answering myself because perhaps someone may be going through this same problem, after many hours looking for a solution I found that replacing this rtlsdr.dll file with this one that was attached works perfectly..

rtlsdr.dll Download

just works without any problem FMP24 V2.65 FC0012

Mike

the rtlsdr.dll file included in the zip ****** _ DSDPlus2p246.zip MD5 File Checksum: 1d16270568a1553f59b5727c4a01c26e with this I get error with chip fc0012 recognizes it as "unknown"

the md5 of the rtlsdr.dll file obtained externally with which fmp24 works and the chip fc0012 is 0c457a39e02c0f10db93f05c61ca09da
