That said Uniden has never timed any releases to be out in time for Christmas. I remember threads on just about every new scanner where someone asked UPMan if the product would be out in time for Christmas. It never was.

Uniden many of your in service scanners 436/536/100/200/992 are starting to show frequency drift. Its usually only 300-1000hertz. This is enough to cause decode and channel capture issues for the end user.

Can't wait to see the images people start posting after springing the 20 bucks.

It's in the Profile editor. I would think the display should show in @ProScan while using virtual display.

In all seriousness. I take this as a huge positive. It means that Uniden is actually ready to launch the new FW. It may be overreaching but possibly just possibly Uniden is actually reading these threads and saw the wish for the FW as a Christmas present to the community and is actually doing it. Silly as this sounds lets give them the benefit of the doubt until New Years.

It's kind of a horse and cart thing... One has to come before the other. But in any event.. I took the plunge, got the key (oh well, if I wasted $20,I will live). 😊
