Golden Gate Bridge District P25

The Golden Gate Bridge District seems to have completely reconfigured their sites/frequencies. Normally I receive Site 1 off Mt. Tam, however I am currently not receiving anything on those frequencies. I am receiving a control channel on 771.33125 (formerly a Site 2 frequency) which is showing as Site 1. All voice traffic is on 773.99375.

This new Site 1 is showing only one peer, Site 2 using control channel 770.25625 (formerly a Site 1 frequency). I am not receiving anything on that frequency from my location in Kentfield. There is also currently a test tone on 774.24375.

Site 1 control channel has switched to 770.61875 (also a former Site 2 freq). Some voice traffic on 773.63125 (most is still on 773.99375).

Is 773.38125 still used by the District? I have it assigned to Santa Clara County by the Region 6 700 MHz RPC and also licensed by SVRIA for the Coyote Lake ASR. Not likely to cause any interference, but that's the only one of SVRIA's frequencies that has a nearby duplicate assignment.

Good find, that would explain it. Site 1 seems to be a larger simulcast cell incorporating most if not all of the original repeaters. I'm still trying to figure out the location of Site 2. Could be Sonoma Mountain or Bald Peak (Berkeley Hills). Site 2 CC has switched to 771.15625.

I'm pretty confident that Site 2 is Sonoma Mountain.

The test signal is gone on 774.24375, and that frequency is now in service as a voice channel on Site 1. All info submitted to DB.
