Seeing a Site 207 coming up as a neighbor to Site 200 (Malvern). Reporting same CC as Site 205 (Concordville) which is the only site I have a pick up on frequency. 207 not a neighbor to any other site I'm within range of...

The 3 sites I can hear have also changed to DCC 7.
Site 101 in Farmington CT on Rattlesnake Mtn (called Hartford in DB)
Site 103 in Bloomfield CT (possibly a Goosetown staging site only)
Site 151 in Holyoke MA on Mt Tom
The database lists Bloomfield as site 104. Should it be 103?

Well due to the fact this is now the 3rd DCC change these sites have gone through since coming online shouldn't we wait until subscribers join the network before we etch these changes in stone?
I don't mind making the changes in real-time. In some regards, it's interesting to see the evolution of the system as it comes to life. I don't know how much activity there is on the Triangle sites, but Goosetown is fairly active testing the sites around here, so it's pretty easy to see the new repeaters at existing site popping up, as an example. The most disruptive change was when the Network ID changed for Goosetown and Triangle hadn't yet caught up, I foolishly split the system into two only to have to recombine them not long afterwards. That's on me, but again I'm sure it was interesting to some to wonder "what the heck is going on here?" or perhaps "Yup, it's confirmed, GTR is a moron". Either way, the database is a living creature that is constantly evolving, as it should be.

I want to stress that I process submissions without prejudice or favor. Good data is good data, and most of us around here are ultimately interested in having a good database to draw from, otherwise I don't think we'd be as active on RR as we are. I'd like to think that despite any opinions or feelings anyone harbors towards others for whatever reasons past or present, real or imagined, that shouldn't really influence the decision to contribute good data. Submitting data formally is obviously completely voluntary, but one would think that if someone cares enough to post said data in the forums or add it to the wiki, they have some level of interest in making sure the correct info is out there. Anyway, to each their own. 🤷‍♂️

My error, 104 is correct.
No Neighbors and it disappeared for a while before Holyoke became active. Now it is back up so perhaps Glastonbury or Stonington will be next for this area.

Boyertown would be a likely suspect, I'd expect the frequency to be updated. This is common when a new site is being brought online.

Or less likely Birdsboro

On second thought, it seems that in addition to all the Gooestown sites having a new Color Code of 7, I've noticed that all of the sites I monitor now have a second or third repeater in use. Can anyone in the Sullivan, Delaware, or Ulster County(s) NY area check for a second repeater to use on those sites?

To the members in CT and MA reading this thread, we need those sites checked for a) change of color code to 7 b) updated peer lists if they've changed c) on the lookout for a second repeater at the sites.

For those using the DMR_TIII_LxN_Freq_calc software to determine/calculate repeater frequencies based on the LSN/CH ID popping up in DSD+ (or the LCN that a Uniden scanner will display after running LCN Finder), this post should be helpful. The info in this post supersedes previous posts in this thread discussing the various band plans and how to calculate them.

Don't get hung up on the fact that the Ref. frequency (aka base frequency) shown here for each plan deviates from what the calculator will show as the base frequency. As long as you start with a known good example, the results will be correct. It's also less confusing to start with 454.00625 for the Part 22 channels instead of 439.00625.

Make sure you're clear about whether you're dealing with LCN (Uniden) vs LSN/CH ID (DSD+), otherwise the calculations will be way off. The calculator defaults to LSN/CH ID.

Standard UHF Plan
Ref. frequency 450.0, Ref. LSN 3 for the following:
  • LCN range 1-1200
  • LSN (CH ID) range 3-2401
  • Frequency range 450.000-464.9875 (EXCLUDING 454.00625-454.65625 with 5 digits after the decimal point)
Part 22 UHF Plan
Ref. frequency 454.00625, Ref. LSN 2403 for the following:
  • LCN range 1201-1253
  • LSN (CH ID) range of 2403-2507
  • Frequency range 454.00625-454.65625 (ONLY when there are 5 digits after the decimal point in this range, otherwise use the Standard UHF Range)
T-Band Plan
Ref. frequency 470.0, Ref. LSN 2509 for the following:
  • LCN range 1254-4093
  • LSN (CH ID) range 2509-8188
  • Frequency range 470.000-505.4875

So in summary, when using DSD+....
  • LSN/CH ID 3-2401 is the Standard UHF plan
  • LSN/CH ID 2403-2507 is the Part 22 UHF plan
  • LSN/CH ID 2509-8188 is the T-Band plan

501.925 is listed in the OneVoice network in West Orange NJ in the RR database. I can't find a license for this frequency in W Orange on the FCC site. There is a 501.925 license in Camden, not issued to Repeater Network. Site 20 sounds like the OneVoice designation in hex rather than decimal. The T3 site number in decimal should be 132 I think.

That's been there for a few weeks; I just haven't been able to verify. I haven't been able to find a license yet, either.
Yeah, it looks like the site number comes from the Con+ system West Orange site, which is 20 in Hex or 32 in DEC. I wonder why they did that, as 132 has not been taken on the TIII system yet.

Site #132 was likely already reserved for a different site, and Site #20 would likely be available due to another shop that went in a different direction. ;)

Picking up fairly strong , IDing as NT3/DT3, so this is likely One Voice Max. Site 96 DCC07 Control Channel on 472.2625

We have a very strong UHF opening to the South West from here (Bristol County, Mass), and I am getting it stronger on my South West UHF antenna. UHF Band is open well into New York City.
