TG 56155

Got quite a few hits today on 56155. Sounded like CPD Ch-9 Warrants (56138) but they were talking to Victor units which I believe are Vice units and Frank and George Units which I'm not sure about. Was not always getting the mobile units just the dispatch. Could there be 2 warrant check channels?

Tonya, I've been hearing the same thing all day to day. FYI, the radio id is 1009 which is the CPD CH-9 Warrants console. Sounds like the console is simultaneously broadcasting on both TG's 56138 & 56155.

Tony,

I connected my scanner to my PC and fired up Pro96com. It showed TG56138 patched to TG56155. The patch showed added at key up and then removed when unkeyed .

It looks like the patch was discontinued at 10:26. I haven't heard any traffic on TG56155 since then.

Radio testing on TG56516 & TG56519

The radio testing on TG56516 is continuing for radio id's 1878xxx & 1865xxx. Two console's have also been used in todays radio tests. Console 1050 and Console 1053.

Station 1 Alert tests (tones) have taken place today on TG56519,Alerts sent by Console 1053. The responding radio id for several tests was 1878001. But on one Station 1 Alert test, radio id 1865023 was used to respond.

Last Friday the radio tests on TG56516 were done with Console 1048.

56516 is Strongsville Fire Dispatch. I just caught them switching from SWRCN and advising all units to stand by for a roll call of stations.

TG56516 Strongsville Fire testing & dispatching

Strongsville Fire Dispatch did a Station Alert (tone) test, stations 1 through 4 responded. The Alert tone test took place at 3:50 pm.

The radio id's for the responding Strongsville Fire Stations were 1878xxx and the Dispatch Console was 1050.

Strongsville Fire Dispatch is continuing activitites on TG56516. Both testing and dispatching.

Strongsville Fire Night Time Station Alerting

While monitoring Strongsville Fire this week I noticed that at 10 P.M. Fire Dispatch transmits a series of Station Alerts on the Fire Dispatch TG56516 for a roll call check in. But I wasn't hearing the stations respond. Turns out each station checks back on a different TG. The Station Alert check in is transmitted on the Dispatch TG and is patched to each stations TG.

Here's the list.

TG56519 Station 1

TG56520 Station 2

TG56521 Station 3

TG56522 Station 4

I wasn't sure how to submit this info, so I checked the SWRCN database. Sure enough Strongsville has done the Station Alerts this way on the SWRCN system. Here are the descriptions used.

42704 a6d D SFD NAS STN4 Strongsville Fire - Nighttime Alerting System - Station 4 Fire Dispatch
42736 a6f D SFD NAS STN3 Strongsville Fire - Nighttime Alerting System - Station 3 Fire Dispatch
42768 a71 D SFD NAS STN2 Strongsville Fire - Nighttime Alerting System - Station 2 Fire Dispatch
42800 a73 D SFD NAS STN1 Strongsville Fire - Nighttime Alerting System - Station 1 Fire Dispatch

So I will submit the Station Alert TG's using Nighttime Alerting System - Station X, for the Description.
