Tried all antennas in the tool box at least 10 plus diamond d-130 ,antennacraft st2,and tv hd . This is driving me crazy,been a fan of the cleveland system since 1965 in the 38 to 40 MHz days. Sometimes it gets through but not to often.I called uniden about the problem tech guy about told me good luck because of the LSM. Well thank radio reference for the live audio feed until I can get it together.

Since it's a silmulcast system, any site you can receive will have all the traffic. Instead of increasing antenna capacity, try reducing it. I found I don't do well with an attic antenna but with back of set or other lower antenna it's fine. Turn on attenuator...etc...

I too live by your area(tri-c area in Parma)And this system reception is poor at best.I see now that another site is operational in N.Royalton in York Alpha pkwy Took a drive there w/the pro-106 and was able to hear how nice the system can be heard.These simucast systems can be a real downer if your not close to a tower site.The 700mhz Marcs IP system is better here though not what I call good.I hope to hell Parma doesn't go to this but I thinking that might happen eventually.I wish that the Greater Cleveland system might add/aquire another tower site around here when some of these other radio systems go away

I just happen to be in "just the right spot" and have no trouble with The Cleveland System,
as well as Lake County and the Marcs-IP.
I am half way between the Cleveland east tower ( Chardon Rd.) and the Lake County
West site ( E.305 and Euclid Ave.)
Listening to all three of these systems on a GRE 800 and "old" Marcs on a GRE 600.
The 800 is using the "stock" rubber duck, while the 600 is on a "high band" mobile
antenna at about 25 feet ( trying to hear Geauga system.
My interest is FIRE, I don't much care about police ( I listen to Euclid police and fire
on their 420 systems, I hope they don't change - it works too good)
My major problem is trying to keep up with the Talk Group changes.
and keeping up with any control channel changes.
As Red Azelia said, it's not always about gain, but directivity, find a narrow beam-width
low gain antenna. Not an easy thing to do, this is something you may have to build yourself.
Take a look at a corner reflector for 800 Mhz, You can't avoid some gain, but an antenna
attenuator should solve that problem. It's worth a try, you can build it yourself.

TG56059 is Field 3, I monitored two conversations this week on this TG and both started with a call for Field 3. The rr database shows Airfield Maintenance 1 & 2 for TG's 56057 & 56058. TG56059 should be submitted as Airfield Maintenance 3.
Regarding 56587, it is a second TG for the Cleveland Parking Garage & Parking Meter Readers group. There is very little traffic on this TG.
Regarding the Water Department TG's (56180 - 56198) it's tough to get specifics for these TG's. Only a handful like Water Turn Off and Water Permits have specific labels.

been monitoring the system all day even right now its working not the best but working ok
I normally get a rssi of about 700 off of Beachwood. Beachwood must be in trouble. I have two systems Cleveburg and eveyone else on GCRCN and I get nada.
