Maybe the Chagrin Falls site is finally operational.
Signal is dropping now. Was 700, now 500. Pretty short haul for condx.
Is there a way to determine which site one is actually hearing in a simulcast system?
What I don't understand is I get all of the Cleveland stuff loud and very clear about 95% of the time and during the same reception time the west side cities that have moved on to the system come and go and I get them very clear about 45% of the time. Wouldn't they be on the same tower. I'm close to the N.Royalton tower. Brook Park and N.Royalton come and go all the time. Middleburg fire is pretty good most of the time. Just wondering if anybody knows why this happens. Also I don't get many radio ID's from the West side groups either.
Dumb question, but are the users from the former SWRCN towns automatically hitting the simulcast towers? Or are they still affiliating only with SWRCN, until they leave the area then hit a simulcast tower?
Is it possible the system is split between traditional towers in the SW side, but simulcast for the rest of the city?.

Unrelated I was picking up city of Cleveland traffic 5x5 on my ride home from CAK on 77 at Arlington in Akron tonight with a PSR800 and RatShack 800Mhz antenna.
Today I heard radiotesting. A new console showed up and identified as 'East Cleveland Dispatch' RID 1048
