If I remove sd card and put in a 8gb card will it reload data base? I,am new to this stuff. Thanks intel8967

No, you'd need to format the card and load the database libraries to it using the EZ Scan software that came with the scanner. See instructions here

you need to format (through the software) the new SD card and reload the library and configuration
