From my post on ScanConnecticut Yahoo Group:

The next part of the Hartford rebanding took place today. The replacement channels for the 860.xxxx frequencies that were taken down on Friday were turned on today. They are not in the trunk cycle as of yet but have been ID’ed. Since the new channels are not yet being used, it can’t be determined if there will be any changes to the function of the system.
The original 1-12 channel assignments have not changed.
13 – 854.0125
14 – 856.0375
15 – 854.5625
16 – 855.0125
For now the system continues to run on only 11 voice channels.

Bump..The database should be updated to reflect these new frequencies. Today I checked and the new frequencies are live in the system or appear to be live 854.0125 seems to be the current controll channel. (As of right now)

Hello All,

I have a problem. I understand Hartford City has re-banded. I understand the concept, I even understand the scanner, and a bit more. However, A dear old friend of mine lives in Hartford and enjoys listening to the fire dept. I have attempted to walk him through the re-programming process. The problem is he is in his mid seventies and pushes buttons when he is not suppose to. I need someone to help him re-program his scanner so he could listen in. I am currently in Ohio and am not able to get there to help him. We would be willing to pay to have someone do this. If anyone is available please PM me and I will be able to give more information. Currently he has the BC 780, BC250D, and a PRO-97.

Thanks Bob

One person sending in bogus info can screw up the whole thing. The control channel can change (and has several times in the last 2 weeks).

This is correct LCN:
1- 854.9625
2- 856.4375
3- 857.4375
4- 858.4375
5- 859.4375
6- 857.9375
7- 857.9875
8- 858.7125
9- 858.9375
10- 858.9875
11- 859.7375
12- 859.9875
13- 854.0125
14- 856.0375
15- 854.5625
16- 855.0125

I have noticed recently since 855.0125 has been brought online that if a transmission occurs on that frequency it gets stuck with the three beeps and I dont get the other side of the transmission. Is anyone else noticing this? All other LCN working perfectly...thanks

no problems here, while I don't normally monitor the TRS, I brought it up on Unitrunker and watched it while monitoring. The TG had no problem switching channels to follow the traffic. I saw no problems nor did I notice any beeps or lag with a reply. This is using a 396XT for listening.
