This morning traveling down CR 419 in Chuluota I started picking up Volusia on my SDR WR-G305e so I tagged it when I was stopped at a light and then continued down CR419 until I got to Lockwood Blvd. I pulled into the McDonalds just off of Lockwood by the Valvoline and Tire kingdom and got out my XTL2500 programming cable. Upon some quick lookup on RR I found the PL tone for 453.425 which is the frequency I tagged so I dropped it into a blank zone and tried listening!! After 5 minutes of no audio on the radio but a bunch on the SDR I decided to use the Advanced Suite and find a PL tone from the SDR. The tone I got back was 127.3 PL on the 453.425 Freq

Can someone tell me why I snagged Volusia on 453.425 - 127.3 PL?
They are supposed to be using 131.8 PL on that freq

I'm 100% certain I did not swap anything! I loaded 4 channels into my XTL2500 and got only one channel to hit over 20 minutes of sitting:

453.425 - 127.3 PL (Tagged & Hot)
453.425 - 131.8 PL
464.250 - 127.3 PL
464.250 - 131.8 PL

Volusia County Schools may have updated there radios and changed tones and no one has submitted a new update yet. If the tone has changed then submit it and will make the corrections. From looking at channel 2 (127.3) would looks correct for 453.425. Monitor, verify and submit.

Just use carrier squelch. PL/DPL isn't a regulated requirement and not everything in the RR DB is 100% accurate or true, only as good as the data submitted. Some agencies have multiple repeaters or base stations and they will use different tones for different locations.

Sent from Galaxy S4 thingie on AT&T.....
