BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Help programing Uniden BCD996P2

I put a bunch of time into this for you. Quickkeys are:
1 Putnam County
2 Kanawha County
Just press 1 or 2 to turn on or off each.

Assuming your in range to pick these sites up, this should work and a LOT better, I used your my new file 3 in message 4.

I broke the talkgroups into fire, police, etc.
Only put in the frequencies in red in the database as putting in voice frequencies is not necessary and will hamper picking up as quickly as I have it.

Set em to ID Scan, P25 Standard, turned on priority scan and set the pd, fd dispatches for priority, added startup text, re-enabled service search, several tweaks.
Also you missed 1 Talkgroup for each county in the database under WV Intersystem / WVOES ( County 911 )

If I had more time, but it would be tedious would be to edit the display texts. Many redundant as far as list the county name in many since its obvious the county it is and you can expand on many of the abbreviated's. Just a matter of double click the text and edit.

Dont worry on apco data plan.

How high are the mountains between you and Charleston? If you are using the factory antenna, you may need an outside antenna because it looks like Poca is in a river valley. St. Albans looks like it has a pretty clear shot to you..

If you are having problems receiving both the St Albans and Charleston sites, I suspect you may have an antenna problem. Take a look at the connector on the antenna and see if the center pin is pushed in or broken off. You can also try sticking a length of wire into the center of the antenna connector on the scanner.

Are you able to receive your local NOAA weather frequency? If you can receive the weather transmission, the antenna on the scanner is not the problem. Try these frequencies.
162.55 Ashland KIH39
162.40 Charleston WXJ84
162.50 Garfield WXM70
