Here i go again

Having troubles getting Freescan to connect with the internet AGAIN. I can connect with RR as I am connecting now. My passwords and user name I have checked several times. I keep getting anerror, HTTP status 417: Expectation failed.
Freescan connects with my scanner, I can up and dowload with the scanner, just cn not log into RR, via Freescan.

Instead of asking us to delete your thread because you solved the problem, how about sharing what you found so others might learn?

ok, mike, it was a stupid error. Go to control panel, internet options, connections, Lan settings, automatic detect rather than proxy. Somehow I changed to proxy setting so automatic, proves th ecomputer is smarter than me.
