By chance does anyone who is UID: 06-101 is? I looked in the database and found that Lithia Springs Park is 06-100 could that be them just using a 06-101 instead? From when my scanner stops on this UID sounds like a utility shop?

I asked a sheriff's office radio tech today about fire going digital and he said some channels would be, but apparently not the whole system. I wonder if he thought I meant encrypted.

Early this morning (6:30 am) I heard a lot of action on the HC LZ OPS frequency...Dispatch and MED 4. Yesterday I heard Aeromed 1 in route back to Tampa General with a trauma alert. Also HC Fire administrators switched from HC Fire admins talk channel to HC Fire TAC 15 for roll call and etc. If you see the UID 06-066 that is HC - Sanitation Department I haven't figured out what department is 06-061 is as of yet sounds like a Warehouse to crew type of department but I'll listen to that channel more.

yes lz ops is for landing zone and that's the channel the lz engine talks to aeromed on.
as far as 04-067, do you have any info besides the talkgroup id? what traffic you are hearing would be nice.

04-067 is an FR training TG.

For the LZ Control TG 04-101, you should be aware that Bradford County FR dispatch (153.920) shows up on this TG from time to time when weather conditions are right for ducting. TG 04-101 is a hard patch of 153.920, which is a Hillsborough County Emergency Management freq.

New UID: 06-110 Water Department?.

Not sure if this talk group is Water Department or Fire Department. They are a very active talk group. They talk about wind and water plus every now about brush trucks and department.

Listening for about 20 minutes.

Last time I heard that TG it was forestry units on a controlled burn. It appears that Florida Forest Service has access to the Hillsborough system.

Thank you Bolt for all the information about the talkgroups I've listed this past week all these I mentioned are all new to me as I moved back home to Florida a year ago.

New UID talkgroups from today: 04-066 and 04-085 (OPS)? Sounds like fire or forestry.

not sure how you guys are set up, but if you're able to get audio files of the talkgroups you're unfamiliar with, I should be able to at least tell you if it's fire/rescue or not.
also, none of the new radios have shown up yet, so the p25 will continue to be quiet, at least for the fire side.

I have my scanner programmed with the frequencies listed in the database for the P25 system I see the 769.2812 for right now as the control channel.

rumor has it the radio system will be partially upgraded (portable radio related) sunday from 8AM-?
portable radios will not work during this time and later in the day HCFR and Plant City will temporarily be running off the mutual aid channels. not sure about HCSO or other agencies. the upgrade should only affect the east side system.
also, I saw one of the new portable radios in service the other day, so they are starting to come out.
