Im not sure where you are getting this information from regarding sd carriage errors. I have a HP2 and had it since it was released. No issues. I had a HP1 for 5 years and sold it, again no issues. I have an SDS100 for 5 years and no issues other than the USB port breaking. Sent it in paid flat fee and back working. NO Sd carriage issues.
Plus RR Forums tend to be on top of known issues with devices and i dont recall seeing any of these issues as you are mentioning.
I feel like you are maybe confusing the issue you are having and what the "uniden tech" is telling you. Yes you may be having an issue but not everyone is having the issue. You have asked and been told many times to get a replacement card and format it. Thats 1 option. If your sd card holder is broken then you need to send it in for repair.

Yes I can understand that but the ones that came out years ago had no problems and the woman on the phone which was a technician said that all I have to do is send it in and get the SD card Carriage changed out because they are a known failure and they had a batch that went out and had failures and they're having people send them back for repair that's all I'm saying I've got one with the SD card error message failure and I have to send it in for an SD card change out for a new one

There is a difference between "a batch with known failures" and "they all have this known failure". I'm just one of many (most?) who haven't had this particular failure, and I've taken my HP-2's SD card out and put it back numerous times (to copy and save recordings of NOAA test alerts over the years), all without a problem.

My home pat 2 is having sd card problem, try to format, try reinstall sentinel, It still say the same thing as in the picture, and now scanner does not want to write or read as soon as I power up a message say remove battery one minute. Can-it be a conflit between sentinel and ARC for home patrol programs?
It not just you it a problem with the SD card carriage some to work well and some have issues it's hit and miss I talk to the IT department at Uniden and they had told me there is an SD card Carriage problem

Well it's not nonsense I did call tech tech support at unit den and they indeed it made it to having an SD Carriage error message on their 100s 200s and they're home patrols 1 and 2 and you have to send it in for a SD card Carriage replacement so it's that's the fact thanks a lot for nothing out there you guys

What is the first name of the person you talked to?

Do you have first names for any of these people? Typically the IT department deals with IT and the repair department deals with repairs.

Also, the last I knew there were no women working in the repair department.
This could have changed in the last few months but I suspect it did not.

So I now found out through the Uniden customer service representative and a tech at Uniden that all the Uniden home Patrol tools have SD Carriage problems and have to be sent back to have the SD Carriage replaced that all the home Patrol 2 have this problem and that the SD Carriage holder has to be changed out

There is no recall. Whoever you talked to was lying (or you misunderstood what was said) but I really would like the name of the person so this can be addressed internally because it cannot be allowed to continue if they really did make that claim.

Hi I myself I'm having the same issue I'm removed the original SD card and tried a 8 gig card and they're lied the problem it started right away never message saying remove batteries and power for 1 minute and try again I just wanted to know if anybody else out there was having the problem with the home Patrol too with your SD cards not even sure if you're supposed to remove them

It's your choice if you want to, depending on your needs. Some people using the HP2 for mobile use, probably find it easier to pull the sd card for updates. I never do, but then mine lives on my desk next to a pc.

Well I finally got another 4 gig SD card to work after numerous tries for me it turns out to be that the SD card reader is extremely sensitive but they'll work after five and six and seven tries
