Please, everyone that get's the new battery, post here ! . LOL.
You got a message from FedEx with their name all over it. (you will).
What are you going to complain about then?
Hallelujah!!!! Could this finally mean the end of the whining, fist pounding and complaining?
No, because we shouldn't have to have a deformed scanner just to get an average amount of time out of a battery pack.
Surely batteries with higher amperage and such could have been sourced that would have fit within the initial model.
I suspect that if they could have found a higher capacity battery that was the same size as the original, they would have used it. It would have saved them the expense of making a mold for the larger battery cover and supplying the covers to customers.Surely batteries with higher amperage and such could have been sourced that would have fit within the initial model.
Your order number BATXXXXX has shipped.
When a tracking number has been provided, please note that we have assigned this tracking number before giving the package to the carrier. If your package does not show up on the carriers website immediately, we may still be in the process of sending them the information. Please check the carriers website periodically for updated information.
Thank you for ordering from Uniden Online!
Got the ship notification for the battery on Wednesday. Battery arrived this morning. Installed and charging right now. Of course, I'm only 30 miles or so from the shipping location, so time was not a factor.

I received two separate ship notices for the 2 batteries I expect.
All this over a battery....
I would only get half this excited if I receive a coupon in the mail for a free pound of bacon.
Nah! Now, Fedex or the USPS will become the target of grief when the battery doesn't arrive 3 minutes after your first shipping notification. "This is taking forever!" or "Why has my battery only traveled 342,649,091 millimeters since yesterday?" or "My battery has been stuck in Funkwater for the past two days."
Since all 1,000,000+ subscribers to this forum are intensely concerned about YOUR battery, I think it's time to once again state the protocol for posting about them.
