I'm trying to get these two windows in DSD+ to start minimized, but no success. I did manage to get two others, FMPx in and FMPx out, to start minimized, but no luck with these two.

Here is my .bat file:
start FMPA -i1 -_1 -o20003 -rc -f460.550 -wsl5.3
start DSDPlus -_1 -i20003 -rc -O NUL
start FMPP -rv -_1 -o20002 -wsl237.4
start DSDPlus -rv -_1 -i20002 -O NUL

I tried other values (-_2, -_4, and -_8) with no luck.

Wondering about that also, as you say the command line still works for FMPx
Yes, I had four windows opening that I want minimized on startup. VC DSD+; CC DSD+; FMPx in; and FMPx out. My .bat file as seen above works to minimize the two FMPx windows, but not the DSD+ windows.

did you try minimizing them, shutting off DSD+ and then restarting?
I believe they are saved in the bin file. You could back up that file and delete it, start up and set your screen, shut down and restart. I use the right click and close all windows to shut down all DSD+ windows.

Yes, I tried that, and it doesn't work. These same files start up as my screenshot in post #1 shows. All the other windows remember their state when DSD+ is shut down and then restarted.

The "-_1" feature worked to minimize the two FMPx windows, but not the DSD windows.

I think you can edit the .cfg files for size/position (minimised ??)
I have not tried it, it is easy enough to click the minimise button.

If you make a Windows shortcut instead of a batch file, you can select Run Minimized there.

This post here may help with setting the windows states.

EDIT: Scrub that see post #6 (option '-_' no longer supported in latest DSD+)

Well, it still does work in minimizing the "FMPx in" and "FMPx out" windows, but not for the "VC DSD+" and "CC DSD+" windows.

Apparently, you can't minimize the CC DSD+ or the VC DSD+ windows, only the FMPx windows.

At your risk....
My DSDPlus starts with the console window minimized. I backed up my .bin file, deleted the one in my DSDPlus folder. I restarted DSDPlus and the console window is visible and will not reset to hidden. I restored it and no more console window in view.
I suggest backing up your file and trying my working one. It may change the menu selections so you may need to remember your setup

Okay cg, I substituted your .bin file in place of mine, and now it works as I wanted. I still had to use the -_1 command to minimize the VC DSD and CC DSD windows, but all is good now. Thanks.
