Not nearly as many as I used to have. I'm down to 4 that are used, and two getting dusty. At one point I had over 20 handhelds alone, along with about a dozen base/mobiles. The old Pro-2004 is in a box, the cats don't listen like the dogs did. Gus in his last days listened a lot. He really did listen, like King after him, if the 2004 was off, or the volume turned all the way down, they slept elsewhere.

According to She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed, "more than you have any reasonable need for!"
I would counter that by mentioning all the shoes in her closet but avoid doing so as the
toolshed in our backyard is unheated and has no plumbing...

It's dangerous to provoke the Minister of War and Finance like that.

Tread carefully.

I have 5 in the car alone
I have 23 in use at the house and remotely

It's hard enough for me two follow two channels/scanners, do you actually have all those turned on and up at listening volume? Are they not busy channels? i don't know how people can listen to that many and know about the incidents going on. lol.
If I hear something I guess I turn the volume up louder, but with 5+ scanners I wouldn't know which one to turn up..

Currently, 3 in constant use, 2 that are "in reserve"... Plus the actual radios.

5 used and 4 unused. From 1989 to 1994, I worked at Cobra as an RF Engineer. My last group was the best - Personal Communication. That included CB's and scanners (plus MOL for the departing 220MHz ham radio). Then I had all sorts of great scanners. AOR, Yupiteru, Uniden. The golden age of analog scanners!

N+1. Here are four of the five at my desk at work right now. Pro-2040/2032/2006/2005. I will always be looking for the next one to add to the collection, with more capability, functions, and use cases.
