How much does spacing matter when scanning with my SDR (DSD Plus)

My spacing on DSD Plus is set to 6.25. Does that make a difference listening to the Galveston County Simulcast?

Step size spacing is the increments the tuner will tune when using FMP24 active keys on keyboard.

Active keys:
[/] select step size
Cursor </> step frequency
Ctrl Csr </> step frequency by 250 Hz
