168.8375/ Nac 293 storm ops ???
151.465/Nac 198
i have been logging 168.8375 as well but caught no comms or nac as of yet. i was thinking the same thing, storm ops?
on https://kf4lmt.com/ he mentions recent reception of 345.0 and 166.4625 both coming out of an E-8 JSTARS so it appears we can set fire to the rulebooks again. smores?
151.465 nac198 any chance that is VaSTARS? i have gotten similar in the past and later realized the nac and odd freq were likely VaSTARS based on evidence i have long forgotten. sorry if i am wrong on that.
Sorry to post this so late in the game but I just got back after a 15 hour ride back to N.Y. from Southport area. I left on last Tuesday night to board up and keep an eye on my home down there. I ended up staying at a local FD and running dispatch on an old VHF channel due to VIPER continuously failing in the Brunswick Co area during the height of the storm until Saturday. When VIPER was working all FD traffic was being carried on BCTAC1 and then assigned a TAC for operations, there was no paging for agency responses (planned). Radios kept going into FAILSOFT which prevented my agency (and I am sure others) from being able to communicate with BC. We finally got a page on late Wednesday over the Fire freq to switch to Zone Z Chan 12 which is 8 call 90 and Tac 93 for the Southport area. That lasted until late Friday.
