From the database, the Amaren systems are EDACS type, so no fleetmaps are needed. However, you do need to follow the channel numbering when programming this system. I would ask some more direct questions in the Missouri forum - and when you do, be sure to specify what scanner you are using, and what software (if any).
In general, however, you need to allocate a bank (system in DMA terms, TSYS - I think - in GRE terms) as an EDACS system, and always remember not to start programming in channel 00 - always start in 01, if it's listed in the database. 73 Mike
