Icom: IC-705: New QRP rig from Icom in the works

I have a question for those that use the GPS function in the 705: Can you log GPS location in analog/HF modes? Would it be able to log S-reading and location as you drive?

I think someone that actually knows about heat management could make and sell a really effective solution. Possibly a heatsink with a footprint identical to the snap on battery, with the battery snaps and some heat transferring rubber material to make good thermal contact between the battery well and the heatsink. You would just snap the heatsink on like a battery and go.
