drove through there on Tuesday. Not a peep on the ICI PD/FD channels I was checking. Everything was still on analog, including Torrance, which I had read in another thread had cutover already.

Interesting. TMAC 2019 already lists the conventional Torrance frequencies as "access" channels.

I was in El Segundo/Manhatten Beach over the weekend and also heard nothing on ICI FD channels.

Redondo Beach sounds terrible. It sounds like it is underwater on a 996XT. I am line of sight to Punta Point.

I thought Torrance Fire would just be on the South Bay site but its also piggy backing off the Glendale Site too. Interesting.

Glendale Fire had been testing a Kenwood mobile on one of their engines so they must've liked it.

Glendale Fire had been testing a Kenwood mobile on one of their engines so they must've liked it.

Glendale replaced all the Engine/Truck/Command Vehicle radios with the EF Johnson version Tri Deck mobiles.

I had a chance to look at that setup Very nice radio configuration.

Sounds like radio comms is getting all of their ducks in a row to get this South Bay Cell and subscriber units active at a 100 percent. It must be getting real close to switch all of LE from conventional over to the TRS very quickly. Most likely they had to add more frequencies to be able to hand the radio traffic load

El Segundo scheduled to be the first agency with the process running through the month.
