214.0 MHz is the second harmonic of 107.0 MHz. Those little low-cost rather-cheaply-made FM Modulators aren't noted for their spectral purity. If you conduct a test and put ever-increasing physical distance between the car and the IC-R6 what you should find is that the transmission on 214.0 MHz will drop off (weaken) before the transmission on 107.0 MHz. This is because the harmonic signal is weaker (in signal strength) than the fundamental frequency - or at least it should be.
