John, as Air490 already beat me to it, it is the UBC126AT AUS/NZ version of 125, just like the 125XL version in the UK or the Albreht version on the Continent, yes, Uniden sold different configurations to different markets.
Looks like R15 will have selectable country settings and band plans like TRX-1E

Wait and see the final specs or versions.

"On August 19, 2023, Icom Co., Ltd. exhibited the handheld wideband receiver "IC-R15" as a reference exhibit at the "Ham Fair 2023" venue. The reception frequency range is 76 to 500MHz, and it supports AM/FM/WFM, and can receive two waves simultaneously in all bands. Equipped with an easy-to-read color LCD, equipped with Bluetooth, recording function, Micro SD slot, etc. It supports simultaneous reception of two waves in the V/UHF band."

Sounds like somewhat of a replacement for the IC-R30.

What is the point? Everyone can use their smartphone with a webSDR server to listen to what they want. Just sayin...

I'm tempted, not so much on the new rig's merits other than Bluetooth which is somewhat ironic because I normally shun Bluetooth for audio thanks to my golden ears. A R6 is what I prefer except for private listening while on foot. The R15 would preserve my precious R30 when used with Aftershokz along with a reduction of mass. Should have bought a second R30 as soon as word came out that they were being discontinued.

The R30's come up from time to time. Just jump when you see one pop up. Was one in the for sale section out of canada last week. I grabbed a second one when someone posted here awhile back. Already cloned and ready for use if needed.

They disappeared real fast after Icom announced it was being discontinued.

Hint, hint Icom for a little brother for the IC-R30😁...

Just did a quick google search. eBay Japan has a few. Price jacked up as usual. I wouldn’t trust ebay myself for expensive electronics.

Haven't heard back from HRO yet. Something tells me they are preparing to process and ship. I usually get a response in 48 hrs. On day 4 now.

Did they charge you the $35 fee to reserve the IC-R15 unit, and then when it ships, you get charged the full price.

Some people have no interest in their job, some of them are working there while looking for their dream job.
