Interesting observation TRX-1 and Simulcast LSM systems -scanner LO drift critical

WOW, I'm housesitting a friend's near Nederland Colorado and my TRX1 is receiving all ranges WAY BETTER than
at my house. Bottom line: Location-Location-Location

For those with lsm systems try -2 ADC 0 DAC 48 DSP I can beat my sds200 on lsm sometimes. The sds doesn't pick up short replies very well.

That's funny you mention this. It took me 8 months to realize that I need to leave DSP at 47 for both TRX-1's I own. Furthermore, the older one starts picking up my favorite target system (P25 Phase I/ partial Phase II 800 Mhz simulcast) about 2 1/2 miles farther out than the newer one.
