Interference from one scanner to another

My antennas are not grounded. Perhaps that could be part of the problem. I didn't think I had to ground them but it's probably a good idea anyway. I guess I could try running a 12GA wire from the scanner case to the ground on the ac outlet but that may cause 60HZ interference.
