I'm new to all this scanner and radio stuff but really enjoy listening and learning. I only wish some of the live feeds would cover my area. Iowa City is close as it gets. Looking forward to learning about what scanner i need to keep up to date. Great site. Keep up the good work.

I'm a mom, here from the Cedar Falls area. Been listening online here for a couple months. I'm really having fun. We live near the hospital and like to find out what the sirens are for. Just curiosity I guess. Just joined in order to report a problem with the live webcast. For 3 days the volume has been going lower and lower till with the volume u as high as it will go on multiple devices, I can no longer hear anything. I think i'm going through withdrawls LOL

Looking for online feeds

George checking in From Mason City. I just started using a scanner app on my itouch, mostly listening to Cedar Rapids and Des Moines right now since I haven't found a live feed For Mason City. Anyone know where I could find one?

There does not appear to be any feeds in that area.

I'm the news director for KIWA radio in Sheldon and live in Rock Rapids. I also do weekends at KNWC in Sioux Falls.

I mostly work from my home. I listen to Lyon, O'Brien, Osceola & Sioux for the most part. I do have a digital scanner, but don't always listen to it. More and more I am finding I need to use it, as more entities go digital.

I occasionally listen to MN (5 mi N) and SD (15 mi W) entities as well.

New Hampton here. Grew up the son of a State Trooper and firefighter. Couldn't live without the scanner after I moved on after college. Listening for dad on the scanner on ISP Base as well as Chickasaw and Winneshiek County OPS, Fire/EMS. Also started listening to the DM&E railroad recently. Getting ready to start a C.E.R.T. team in Chickasaw County and this helps to keep up with what is occurring in the county.
