I wanted 2 of the 260s to replace my 15Xs but I have found 996P2s on eBay with DMR & NXDN for under $300

yes, thatā€™s what some quick thinkers said. If the price for the 160DN and/or 260DN is too high you might be better of with an older model with P25 and DMR/NXDN trunking.

As long as there is no actual selling price you just have to wait to see what giveā€™s the biggest bang for your buck

Whether these scanners are a fit for a particular hobbyist depends on what the hobbyist desires to monitor. For some they will be great, for others it may be overkill or underkill (is that a word?). Many people understand this. It seems some still do not.

Just because they (possibly) aren't great for you or I doesn't mean they aren't great in and of themselves.

It doesn't. It's the 160, at least here. And for fxdscon. Even says 160 in the link; /BCD160DNom.pdf is the ending of the link.
Yes itā€™s working fine for me now I did a refresh in my browser! Thank You

Well, a part of page 6 and whole page 7 and 8 are in French šŸ˜

Band Scope looks verry nice and I like the range of available frequencies too.

I have just read the manual, no auto store rules it out for me.

thatā€™s why they have made a camera in a smartphone. Find a new frequency, push hold and make a photo with your smartphone. On a other moment I can easily program this frequency into the scanner šŸ˜

For those who have already placed a back order with Zip Scanners for the BCD160DN and/or BCD260DN, it looks like their arrival will be further delayed from what they initially thought. Since they started accepting back orders, the Zip Scanners website has said "Expected ship date: February 2024" but as of today it now says "Expected ship date: March 2024."

FYI Bearcat Warehouse has had "Expected ship date: March 2024" on their website for both the BCD160DN and BCD260DN since they started accepting back orders and that information has not changed.

yes, I noticed they pushed it back from Feb 2024 to March 2024, they also decided to charge your card right away too, I think zip scanners were Feb 2024 now March 2024 as well, didn't bear cat joe says the first quarter of 2204 it should be shipped out or in stores?

My use is to have it running while I am doing other stuff and look at the results later. I don't have a lot of time for active monitoring.
