TRX-2: Just bought TRX-2, NO VOICE,WHY?

I just bought TRX-2, I could not know why was no voice when I searched a channel .OR some sets was wrong ?Or sth else?waiting for helps online.

Before anybody can help you we need to know the answers below.
#1 Where are you and what are you trying to listen to.
#2 Did you update the firmware and database
#3 How did you program the scanner by hand, computer, or import from the database

I used it in China , not USA and Canada , so the sigal is so poor , here I used the limit search and got some brands, but no voice, even the noice and keyboard beem is so weak , once I adjusted the VOL Turning to increase the VOL, but no effects, how to deal with it?

The function beeps are set in the (program menu) (global settings) (key pad beeps) (beep vol)
