Does anybody have any info for the LAFD Locution Dispatch System, or have a recording of a dispatch?

Thanks,
fwfdengine2
There's a 3½ year old "non-endorsement" description of LAPD's use of Locution software from an LAFD PSO (Brian Humphrey, I assume) near the very bottom of the page at
Locution Systems [Archive] - Firehouse Forums - Firefighting Discussion

I've got two recordings of sample digitized dispatch audio files at
http://harrymarnell.net/locution-demo1.wav
http://harrymarnell.net/locution-demo1.wav

These are also several years old and I have no idea if they represent the current state of the art, or the system as currently used by LAFD.

EDIT: Found a sample file on Locution's website: http://locution.com/techoverview/dispatch.wav

Some other Locution systems across the country include - Palm Beach County, FL
Dallas, TX - Fort Worth, TX and Houston, but Houstons system sounds like a retarded speak and spell

kinda cool how the system works, but i prefer the old voice dispatching method.

I've never heard them use this system and I routinely monitor them. Do they still use it? If so what channel?

I belive that the system can not be heard over the scaner....It is sent strait to the station by a different way then the radio, i'm sure how though.
