Maybe it's just me but I haven't heard any Lathrop units on SO. I know they opened their new PD and am wondering are they working on their own channel now or are they still with the SO?
OK, but that doesn't help with identifying for certain if and when and what they are doing or now have for their communications. Thanks anyways, was an interesting read.
Much appreciated. Will dial that in and see. Living on the west upper side of the County I doubt I'll get anything. RPD and EPD barely come in on my car unit when mobile.https://www.ci.lathrop.ca.us/police/page/dispatch-services indicates they are being dispatched by Ripon PD.
I also searched the FCC database and found the following license: http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/license.jsp?licKey=3956150&__newWindow=false. They are licensed for 453.225, 453.3125, 453.475, and 453.775 and has emissions for P25 and FM.
I would start with those frequencies and see if anything is heard.
So far 453.2250 with a NAC of 701 seems to be their dispatch channel. Their units are 3B(boy)XX Lathrop.
I would say so, yes. I listened for over a day and it was all Lathrop PD based on traffic and addresses. This morning apparently County Dispatch was acting up and 453.3125 with a NAC 701 which is listed as TAC 32 covering Lathrop/Manteca was being used for dispatches. It's listed already but seeing as how it's also listed in the freqs RadioBern posted, I think it can be added into the Lathrop group itself. I think they are still being Dispatched by County. Still have to figure out these two: 453.475, and 453.775Should I add this to the DB?
As of about 10 ago they are still using 453.3125 to dispatch locally and they had a call in Ripon and had them change to Command 6 for that. Obviously not enough to make a solid decision about how they will use that channel. Will keep listening.I added the new Lathrop PD frequency (453.225 MHz). I'll hold off on changing Tac 32 (453.3125 MHz) until we know a little more, but I assume fire doesn't use it since the rest of their channels are VHF?

I will dedicate more time listening to County fire for awhile to verify but I have never heard them use Command 5. Has always been Command 3 or 6.So Ripon Fire District now uses Command 6, not 5?
You're also in Stockton, right? I find that in order to even barely receive LPD, you need to be in an "optimal" radio spot where even the troublesome channels come in nicely. For me it's either outside in my backyard or upstairs next to the window or if I am downstairs in a very specific spot that I spent quite a bit of time trying to balance being able to catch all of my troublesome frequencies where they come in nicely. I'm located northwest side of Stockton south of Hammer. Hope this helps.Hi guys ,I have enter the public frequency for Lathrop ,listed in data base , I'm not getting no audio .
Perhaps I'm To far away ?

Thank you much for the final clarification. Makes much more sense now. So SCD is just for Tracy and Tracy area and then everyone else such as Escalon, Ripon, and Manteca fall onto command 6 but still dispatched through control 1?As explained in the other thread, it's two different dispatch centers. SCD is just the South County Fire Authority (City of Tracy, and Tracy Rural Fire Protection District). They're dispatched and respond on SCD.
The other agencies are dispatched on Control 1 and respond on their geographically appropriate channel (Control 3 or 6).
