FINALLY...

Subject:
Public Records Request :: W016140-040622
Body:
Good Day. The County Attorney's office has reviewed the responsive records for Chapter 119 exemptions. Attached is a listing of the talkgroup ID numbers and identifiers. We do not have a report that shows whether the talkgroups have encryption applied as requested, this record does not exist.

Frequencies are available from the FCC's public database. We do not have a report that will export that information from our system.

Sincerely, Rebecca Hanna, Lee County Public Safety, 239-533-3973

It took two weeks to get the OFFICIAL list from the ACTUAL person who created it. Makes me happy and sad...Charlotte County refused to release the same information--Sarasota, Manatee, and Lee all did. Even the local Court refused to make Charlotte County release it. LASTLY...It should be obvious, but may not be to some, drop the "800" in front of the TalkGroup ID number (80023037 would be entered as 23037)...it's just how they imported it into Excel.

Here's the file in Excel with the "800" removed in one column for you.

Great job! And we can also sort TG's from low to high in order too.
You want me to program your radio for you too...what about mow your lawn, do the dishes, wash your car????? You can sort the data however you wish.

Those that live in Lee County and know the "system" are going to have to pitch in on this project. The DB admin is not familiar with the abbreviations...as most of you are not either. They are the "alpha tags" used as labels on the users' radios. We get the task of deciphering what they mean...some will be obvious, others we may never know.

^^^ what Alpha1 said ^^^^

please be advised. I am in receipt of the data mentioned above.

HOWEVER -

We will need help from the local monitors to make sense of some of the Alpha coding on the talkgroups ---- as none of know what XXYYPD or XXZZEMS mean in some cases.... except for CC - which is obviously cape coral.

also --- and please pay attention to this. We do not, as a general rule - populate the RR database with an entire list like this until the group is actually monitored as "active"... so if you are waiting for a dB update for the entire list ..... it's not going to happen in that manner.

if I was a local down there, I would 100% print this list out and leave my radio / SDR in "ID SEARCH" mode ... and start ticking off what's active. that's how to make sure we get good data in the database.

Props to prying this list out of the govt down there.... great job!

Whoa - what are you talking about? I think you read it wrong. I was just pointing out to people who might not know that they can sort it numerically if they want.

Anyone that is interested . CCFD full assignment long tone is long tone #21 ( 890.7 - 921.8 ) for the g5 pager. I have this set so i can leave the volume low for all the ems stuff and get alerted when a box goes out.
