Ya I'm downtown. I guess it's on the same building on Charlton and I can 'see' the control channel without an antenna.

Still can't get LMRN to work thou. Will it matter? _______________

Looks like they have added Site 15 (Fonthill) now as a neighbour to Hamilton as well as they added 142.2750 and 142.6350 to the mix of frequencies for Hamilton as well. I am seeing lots of activity now as well on Hamilton on TG's 20691 and 20692 with enc traffic.

Looks as if Brantford, Haldimand, Norfolk EMS have switched. All quiet on FleetNet
Lots of encrypted traffic on TG 20692 and 20695.
TG 20699 appears to be the Brantford General as it is patched frequently to both

It now looks like 142.635 has been removed from rotation on Hamilton and now it's only 142.215/275/350/800.

I'm going to say that everything on the Hamilton CACC has changed over. No calls on FleetNet, talkgroups that Andy mentioned.

Seeing 20691, 20692, 20696, 20698 on Unitrunker.

Mississauga and Niagara CACC are still on FleetNet. Wish I could say how I feel about this but no cussing.

RID 773730 (console) on the Hamilton tower was on TG's 20691 and 24113.. so I am guessing 24113 is a hospital patch..

I'm here a lot
Would you Hamilton guys say that 20692 is City East? The reason I am supposing that is that it is constantly coming over the Toronto tower for LMRN as it used to for FleetNet. The only other Hamilton CACC talk group I've seen/heard in Toronto is Tactical 4.

20692 is also very active on the Cayuga Tower and Brantford.
That would make sense as City East used both sites on FleetNet.
20695 is also vey active on Brant and Cayuga. I'm leaning towards this being Brant/ Hald./ Simcoe EMS
More watching is needed

Based on London and other areas, the TG should match the same TG pattern seen on FleetNet with the lowest TG user active matching the lowest TG user on FleetNet.

Picked up encrypted testing of the emergency alerts yesterday afternoon off of the Mississauga Tower on my G5. TG 20844 and radios were all around 752129 and up.

I found this tonight, 143. 310 site 6-148

It’s been there for a bit, but I’ve yet to locate an actual site transmitting it in any direction last I looked. It clashes with a a FleetNet voice frequency on Britannia too when I’ve tried to search around for it.

Does the the 6 indicate a different RF subsystem versus the other neighbors in RFSS 1 ?
Perhaps it's a test site in a radio shop, inside a faraday cage.

Yes, it's in a different RFSS and from the other sites RFSS 5, it's probably a low power site somewhere.

On 2024-05-26 at around 4:00pm on Region 2 common, Hamilton CACC mentioned some of the Cambridge talkgroups on the new radio system: https://calls.broadcastify.com/5af0/563/1716753908-35008.mp3

-Cambridge 1
-North 1
-WTR 2

I know North 1 is already identified in the DB, so would Cambridge 1 and WTR 2 be the names of the other two talkgroups?

Therefore:
TalkgroupPSRNFleetnet Name
20622North 1TAC 3 Guelph/Wellington & Dufferin
20625WTR 2TAC 2 Kitchener/Waterloo
20626Cambridge 1TAC 1 Cambridge

I was looking at my DSD and noticed this..
Channel 0-828: 142.215 DATA

Is this channel that sends out data out regarding the system? I have not seen this channel active in my channel activity in a long time. I do see 142.2150 active with P25 voice but no Data channel. 142.8000 is the CC and 142.3500 is the SCC with 142.2750 & 142.6350 are voice channels.

The database has TG 20695 as being Simcoe / Norfolk EMS.
I believe it should be as follows

20695 Brant and Brant county EMS
20696 Haldimand/ Norfolk including Simcoe

I say this as 20695 is very active mostly on the Brantford Tower, and 20696 is active on the Simcoe and Cayuga Towers.
I have been listening to OPP incidents that require ambulance, and followed the EMS TG that was dispatched.

I also have a list of unknown TG that I believe to be the hospitals as they show up during patches.
24101, 24102, 24104, 24105, 24106, 24107. I just need to reference them to the individual hospitals.
