Site 51 has shown up on Whitby's neighbour list.

View attachment 170376

Site: 1.51
Channel 0-858: 142.4400 CC

Site: 1.37 NAC=AD7 ; Whitby
Neighbor: BEE00.AD9-1.13 ; Niagara Falls
Neighbor: BEE00.AD9-1.26 ; Sunderland
Neighbor: BEE00.AD9-1.38 ; Pontypool
Neighbor: BEE00.AD9-1.39 ; King City
Neighbor: BEE00.AD9-1.40 ; Toronto
Neighbor: BEE00.AD9-1.51
Neighbor: BEE00.AD9-1.147 ; Toronto

It's using one of Cobourg's control channels. Zone 2 starting?

Just a guess, but I'll bet Durham EMS are screaming about really poor radio coverage in the Newtonville / Kendal Hills area of east Clarington in Durham Region.
They are probably trying to make a rapid intervention and fix coverage that mostly worked on Analog but wont on P25 TDMA.

Line of Sight Map
Magenta=Whitby
Red=Pontypool
Orange=Cobourg
Red Line=Durham Region eastern boundary with Northumberland County

zoom in
Bell Mobility has a cell tower at the Newtonville Water Tank to solve this gap for 800MHz.
I'll bet that they add a new VHF site at Newtonville Bell in the next 24 months.

It looks like all the converted LMRN sites now have a dedicated data channel. I am not 100% sure what is being sent but it appears that only units on the site use the data channel for that site. Its not linked to any other site. I do see a neighbor site list on the data channel.

theses are the data freq I have located so far.
site 12 - 142.035
site 18 - 142.485
site 21 - 141.300
site 33 - 142.305
site 45 - 141.675

And just about every site seems to have its own little control channel for data also. Dont give frequency or any info other then the site number

The data channel is likely used for AVL, OTAP, and OTAR. It may also be used for Call Alerts and Status Messages.

Here are two more
site 3 - 142.815
site 4 - 142.515

Although these data frequencies now appear to be fixed use I have checked through my records and see that at one time they were used as voice frequencies.

Vankleek Hill is getting in on the action as well. I think they are the Eastern most site?
