I am hearing LACOFD BLUE 8 Dispatch 24/7 now on Talkgroup 9 on the Rolling Hills trunked site.

Sounds pretty good

What's going on with the ICI System? It seems to be dark as of right now for no apparent reason. It was as active as I've ever seen yesterday.

Yeah, I thought it was just me! This is pretty weird...

I've been monitoring LARICS 24/7, and have been for the past month or so. I haven't seen one outage. Never really seen one outage with casual listening either.

We will see what happens around New Year’s Eve as it had a lot of traffic last year.

Most of the talk groups are encrypted on the system. As for the clear talk groups most are active during the week days. Several patrol stations have been upgraded with apx8000 portables and trunking talk groups for tacticals. Probably see a bigger use in the near future. As for rose parade the whole operation will be on LARICS again this year

I noticed this last night too. It was working earlier in the day.

Also a primary Montebello listener.

Did they change the control ch? If so how do we find the new one? The RR database still has the old one up.

That is in the federal frequency range. Sure looks like you are receiving an image.

...disregard. I didn't catch the typo.

Oh man, haha, 18 hours without sleep takes a toll. Yeah, 482.112, my bad.

Plugged it in and it's back up. Thx

What database did you get it from if you don't mind me asking?

Didn't use a database, just checked SDR# for nearby frequencies. Are you getting signal back on 482.0375?

Any updates or a ballpark guess as to when LACOFD and LASD will switch over?
According to documents completion is set for mid 2019 with switch over shortly after that.

There are a handful of users on the system already to my understanding including sheriff and fire. Also various agencies/police department using it.

Sheriff stations are currently getting outfitted with apx8000 radios with the new system in the radio.

Most of the activity is encrypted but there's a few talk groups in the clear that I've heard
