TG#00001 has been simulcasting something to do with Ky-EMA/EOC and the national guard, I know it's for the power outages, but I am not for sure who it is. any ideas?
They stopped operations as of 5:30pm yesterday(9-18), they were to resume today at 8:00am, but no simulcast on Metrosafe today. I will check out those 139MHz National Guard Channels though.
I'm sooo excited, tomorrow I'm not only going to visit MetroSafe I'm going to get to install some radios in it!
The Emergency Coordinator for Jefferson Co. ARES was contacted by MetroSafe and they asked if some of the ARES folks could come down and install the new ham radio equipment in the EOC. Last Friday I talked to the EC who is a friend of mine (it helps to have friends in high places) and he asked me if I wanted to help him do it. I can't wait
I'll let ya'll know how it goes.
