Please guys, place LWIN unknown TG's in this thread, thats why it was created. Once they are ID'ed, please submit them, as I sometimes get too busy to search the forums for the data. TY in advance!

Back in posts 161 and 162, I posted a couple of list for one for some IDs that I found and some groups that I am looking for. Please reread and download the list in 161 to help id the IDs.

Thanks

Helpful Hints: 1, ID beginning ranges... Look at the first 2 digits, that will open the door for ID'ing it. That gives you a range to start looking in. 2, last 3 digits, once you have your primary range from first 2, use this to narrow the ranges down tighter. 3, Listen hard. Sit on the one TG for as long as possible and just monitor its traffic. Doing this will narrow it down very fast indeed. Dispatches are the easiest to ID fastest as they usually do an announce of some kind that gives it away, like "Concordia SO, Concordia 35. Concordia 1 wants an 21 ASAP." Or "Mary 27, have an accident at Shadeland and Shade Tree, no injuries reported." And you may know that location is in such and such Parish etc... Others may take a tad longer to nail down as they are not so "scanner friendly" on details lol.

6150 is some type of DOTD channel. It falls a few spaces before the first listed DOTD channel in the DB (6154). I've been hearing heavy traffic on this channel about road icing, sand, salt operations, etc. It is definitely a very broad range, I've heard units on 190 in Erwinville, Hwy 1 area, all around Baton Rouge locations and the way down to Hwy 20 at the Bayou Chevreuil Bridge (St. James/Lafourche parish line).
Perhaps this channel is some type of multi-district channel? Anyone knows any DOTD guys, can get some insight?

Heard routine police traffic on 48026. The database shows VA Hospital in Alex but the traffic I hear is not consistent with a hospital. Regular police traffic with a DUI this morning. Tom Lafayette.

Monitoring here in Alexandria/Pineville with Unitrunker and have the following hits on this 48xxx talkgroup.

48026...796 hits
48036...728 hits
48037...385 hits
48038...22 hits

I agree with R7000's comment as I've heard traffic on 48026 that I doubt is the Alexandria VA security.
I've done work for the security office there in the past and they run a very small dept.
I believe they must be sharing this talkgroup with other agencies.

This hit count runs from 8-28-2013 to 2-9-2014 and I only monitor a few evenings a week and occasional weekends.

More UNID National Guard talkgroups I have logged here with hit counts.

7013...520 hits
7040...171 hits
7041...59 hits
7045...86 hits

All of the above were active during the recent winter weather and I also heard "Vanguard Mike" callsign at that time.

What numerical range are these fitting in? That will give you first clues.... Where do they fit in the ones already in the known lists in the DB? Then what traffic is on them, and then if you can match up the RID's using them to other known TG's, it narrows pretty fast.

24###s are St Landry parish so keep listening and see what addresses you can identify and try to figure out what agency from there.

Talk group 20013 is LPSO's River Patrol channel.

Talk group 20000 is their "Tac 1" channel, and talk group 20002 is their "Tac 2".
