I was getting very little signal from Hineston at the time of my last post. I was able to move upstairs, get a much better signal from Hineston, and pick up a lot more of the traffic I was expecting that - at least at that time - didn't seem to be coming through the Alexandria tower. Between that change and correcting the LWIN frequencies, I'm hearing a lot more. Thanks again, all, for the helpful comments.

I had a radio in Baton Rouge over the past week or so. TGID 5193 was active with "LA-1" and "LA-3" doing an escort; they were calling this channel "EX-9".

Truthfully, my point of posting was that they very clearly called this "EX-9" or "X-9", not "1". Maybe a patch, maybe a rename, maybe...???

Per a submission, I added sites 2.11 Galliano and 2.16 Port Sulphur tonight. I was looking through the FCC database and trying to match some missing licenses to sites in the delta parishes and noticed that there is a lot of possibly outdated information. 2.08 St. Rosalie and 2.09 Reggio share the same 700 MHz frequencies in the database but may possibly be simulcast since the FCC license also duplicates 5 700 MHz frequencies for both sites. Boothville 1.79 may no longer be on the air in favor of 2.05 Buras, which also may have some outdated frequencies. I have no way of knowing but if someone in the region gets a change to run DSD or another SDR app to try and refresh all that data and fill in missing neighbors from Port Fourchon to Venice and that area, it would help clear up the mud (no pun intended)
