Who is 23016 near Chicot?

Incident tonight with Air Med called out to deal with bee stings near Chicot State Park. TG 23016 came up with traffic but I have no clue who this is. I'm listening to the Scott site.

To R7000 post #221

Hello, if I were to bet, but I don't, I'd bet that the talk group in question (23016) is the Air Evac Life base north of Opelousas. If you look on Air Evac Life's web page, there are 3 bases in Louisiana. One is in Kinder. One is in Opelousas. The third is outside of Rayville,La. Just sayin'

Talkgroup help

Anybody in the N.O. area have any idea what T.G. 30015 might be.?It sounds like maybe a small tour bus type of deal. Possibly a shuttle service. Don't know. They talk about picking up and dropping people all over N.O.. I think it is only Orleans parish.

A few more talkgroups....

I am trying to identify a few talkgroups that are in the 31xxx series. These are in the upper end (above 31500) and a lot of the 31xxx talkgroups are for Assumption parish. These talkgroups are:

31643
31644
31645
31646
31647
31648
31998
31999

If anybody has any idea of what these are or who they are for, please help out. Thanx.

I monitored the St. Tammany Simulcast for several hours using my PRO-106, and Win500. Win500 was able to create new TGID's from wildcard entries. It also created several TGID's for Jefferson and Orleans Parish, but all were already in the RR database. It did not indicate if these TGID's were encrypted or not.

For you guys figuring out talkgroups here's a suggestion in case you haven't tried it. There are a number of freeware recording programs available on the net that you can use to record the traffic on various talkgroups while you are away at work or sleeping or whatever. I have used one in the past called scanrec. That was a good one that had a vox setting so it only recorded when there was actual voice traffic so I got a full day's worth of trafftic compressed into a few minutes of recording. All you need is a wire with a 1/8" plug on both ends to connect your scanner's headphone jack to your computer's mic jack and you're in business.

Does anyone know the talkgorup ID used by the Jeanerette City Marshal units that like to run radar on US 90? I didn't see that agency listed under the Iberia Parish talkgroups in the database.

Pretty sure they use the IPSO dispatch channel, which is Encrypted.

Today I heard several Arnaudville Fire Dept units talking to "911" on 24055. So this appears to be a fire or fireground talkgroup. If anyone has any more info please post.

St Landry

I've been working on I.D.s for St Landry as well as others for awhile.
I'm pretty sure these are correct but wanted others to monitor to verify before submitting.

Fire Dist 4 24052
Fire Dist 5 24055
Fire Dist 6 24060

Awesome. I've been working out of town on weekdays so I haven't been able to spend much time monitoring. I've also seen a 24033 pop up today. It sounded like a small town PD. All those 24000 to 24499 id's should be for agencies in st landry parish.

I've been seeing 24023 pop up a lot lately. From what they say and from the street names they go to it sounds like Grand Coteau PD.
