On his FB page it says he is a photojournalist/Editor at WXYZ and a DJ at Wiseguys,

He is runs Macomb Cty Scanner pretty irresponsibly IMHO

Notice the pictures and videos people take of accidents while driving that are posted on his FaceBook page. I used to make comments about that and now I can no longer comment on his page. From what I was told, the Macomb County Sheriff Department was looking into the pictures and videos that people were taking while driving and posting them on Macomb County Scanner. The evidence is right there - you're gonna record a short video of an accident while driving (distracted driving) then post it on FaceBook? Brilliant. Yeah, cause another accident because you're recording a previous accident with your phone while driving. Not too bright.

He (Macomb Cty Scanner) posted pics of an undercover operation a while back. A friend of mine who is a police officer commented on the pics that it was not a good idea to post them. His response: "LOL"

I've seen some of his postings and immediately thought that it should not have been posted, at least not in the timeframe they were posted. I'd hate to be subscribed to his page and see a photo of a close friend or family member's car involved in a serious accident before I received any notification from the authorities or family about the incident. Especially if any incorrect information about the accident were included in his "report".

It's people like this (and other reasons I won't go into here) that lead to agencies shutting out the public.

As far as him responding with "LOL", that just shows others what kind of a person he is. He doesn't care about stuff like what you mentioned. It's all about him. Like I mentioned in another post, I was telling people on his FaceBook page that recording videos of accidents while driving is not a good idea, let alone that it's distracted driving. I can no longer comment on his page. He encourages distracted driving.

I stopped by the Macomb County Sheriff's Department and showed a sergeant a few videos that had been posted on his page and I was told that they were aware of the situation and it was being investigated.

He doesn’t allow people to post articles from news sites other than WXYZ on his page. But what he does is steal articles and photos from other news sites and post them without a link or giving credit.

This is the same guy who a couple of years ago at Sterlingfest was using his phone to record an incident where the police were in the process of removing an unruly male from the fair. During the recording, PD asked him to move away from the incident. He gave them trouble, and almost ended up arrested himself. This guy is an absolute jerk. And he's got sponsors now!
