Thank goodness our town is sleepy! But it does take a while before you hear a broadcast. Madison FD was doing all sorts of testing (beeps and tones, "check, check, can you hear me?") on Thursday. Not sure if the FD has done the switchover yet. The PD is fully up and running now (but it's new...a few officers are doing the can-you-hear-me inquiry). All silent on the old analog PD frequency. Now only 1 of my 3 radios can pick up the police.
