These are the 12645xx RIDs on MD FiRST TG 8436 and various TGs on the USCP VHF TRS lately:

1264501
1264502
1264504
1264506
1264509
1264510
1264511
1264516
1264517
1264522
1264523
1264540
1264542
1264548
1264551
1264554

I'm very curious, have you confirmed 12645xx is HHS? I'm familiar with their TacMed units, they've been assisting USCP and others during the various NSSEs lately. I assume that's who the HHS units would be?

The FiRST usage was during the Jimmy Carter arrival/procession to the Capitol on Tues. HHS TacMeds were part of the procession etc. But, I'm not really sure why they'd have a TG on the FiRST system? The procession was in MD for a bit (started at JB Andrews). I just assumed they used the channel of whatever agency they are assisting?

We hear Amtrak PD with RIDs 1248000-1248005 on the DC 7/800 MHz system.

I previously recorded 1235236 and 1235253 on MWAA PD channels, but I was never able to confirm who the user was. I had initially thought it might be USSS ("Flagship" dispatch console 1234948 appears to monitor MPD's SD4-SEC constantly). But, in hindsight, the presence of 1235xxx RIDs on several transportation-related TGs might suggest another agency. Maybe TSA VIPR?
Those fall under the WMATA range

HHS is a limited primary user on FIRST, and they have several tgs for occasional use / use in emergencies.

I see the FS30 site in Montgomery County has been reprogrammed to FY25 - probably due to Trump's golf course along the Potomac River - to enhance coverage for DNR's boats and other security measures.

Does anyone know the locations of the Charles County Simulcast Towers? Is there one close to the RT301 / Leonardtown Road Intersection? I have tried to find the info via FCC ULS but because they are using the state license it is more difficult then I thought it would be to locate.

RIDs 1264504, 1264510, and 1264514 were affiliated with the USCP TRS during the Joint Session on Tuesday.

Sort of off topic but...

What is the RID range for US Capitol Police on their system? I once logged 12251xx on FiRST and thought by their call sign it might have been Capitol Police.

Interesting, twice now I’ve heard a “DNR Dispatcher” come up on the Frederick MSP TG to report incidents that they had units out on. So this brings me to ask that is DNR a statewide agency ? Meaning they don’t have limits on what TG’s they can use from wherever ?

Their dispatch center is at Sandy Point State Park; they are responsible for the dispatching DNR units for entire state. If they came up on the MSP Frederick tg, then I imagine that the audio is routed to the sites that serve the Fredrick area.

Interesting, I’d like to know more about how that is worked and done. I wonder if any of the AA sites saw any of this activity when it was being done.

NRP Dispatcher's routinely utilize MSP Barrack talkgroups throughout the state routing info from their officers, assistance requests, etc.

NRP Officers have statewide jurisdiction and have the same authority as a MSP trooper (even more since they enforce conservation laws, etc.).

NRP Radios have extensive talkgroups in them. They have all police jurisdictions statewide (both on FiRST and local systems). They also have county fire department talkgroups in their radios. They routinely come up on Anne Arundel Fire talkgroups during calls for service.

Its done through the console.

MSP Frederick is not allowed on Anne Arundel or Baltimore City Cells. The farthest east allowed is Howard Cell.

I miss listening to NRP. They were always interesting to listen too even though they heavily used their MDT's.

Anne Arundel typically does not carry the MSP Frederick tg. In fact, it *may* be disabled to prevent unit from dragging it along when Troopers are transiting the area.

Seeing UMCP Police and MSP Rockville both using their Tac 1’s all day long via the Montgomery site. I hope this isn’t a sign of going encryption.
