This departed Detroit City airport on 10-20-23 @ 01:10am. Unfortunately I didn't see it come in. I was sitting on my front porch enjoying the cool night air, when I heard him depart.

Chuck, that might be "Sijan". It's a callsign used by the 115th FW out of Madison, WI. Lance Sijan was an Air Force F-4 pilot from Wisconsin who was killed in Vietnam. He received the Medal of Honor posthumously. The F-4 on display at Madison is dedicated to him.

11-6-23 approx 1800 hrs

Heard an A10 (Bronco 2?) losing oil pressure on one engine. Had to leave the Grayling range for an unscheduled landing in Alpena. Pressure at 25psi, emergency level, right as he put it on the tarmac. I hear a lot of technical and mechanical glitches happening on a very regular basis. I heard an A10 30mm nose cannon that wouldn’t stop spinning the other day. The technical & mechanical support stay very busy keeping em flying and the pilots are very cool under pressure. Hats off to these folks and the job they are doing.

ITPS has a Hawker Hunter now. They fly out of London Ontario. (International Test Pilots School)
They use 123.350 for A/A comms if they have 2 aircraft up.

I also have a Homeland A-Star doing circles over my house. Not showing on any flight trackers.
