RCAF Snowbirds flew a practice from Windsor Ontario, over Willow Run(KYIP) then RTB.

Caught the departure from Windsor on 118.95
Were told to contact Detroit Tower on 134.300
During the demo, they used 272.100 for all of it. All of the calls from the boss were heard on that freq.

241.000 common A/A, & Ops freq.
41.8500 Abrams Municipal airport Ops. FM mode.

Also listen to your local airport approach departure & tower freqs. Army Guard helos don't fly very high, so hearing range is going to be limited. Usual callsign is GUARD COPTER & then the tail number.

VPOTUS cancelled her trip to Michigan due to recent flooding in the area, which was to take place Monday(6/28). Details should be released soon regarding if the trip is gonna happen at a later date.

Lots of classic military aircraft will be flying around the metro area JULY 8-11, for those who don't know, including a B-24 and Mustang from Pontiac and a B-29 from Ypsi. Each will be doing multiple flights daily, would imagine they'd be on the standard comms from their respective airports and whatever centers they are handed off to on their flights [looks like most of the flight slots are sold out BTW].
