The Seeed Wio Terminal device packaging from Digikey, Amazon, Mouser, etc. comes with a short USB C cable. That cable can be used to program the Wio Terminal.USB Type C:
There are many USB Micro-B cables that are 'power only' cables. These 'power only' cables only have 2 of the 4 usb wires connected inside the cable. If buying a new Micro-B USB cable, look for one that mentions it can be used for data transfer.USB Micro-B: Docs say it has to be a "data" cable. How would I know if it's a data cable or not?
I decided to give everyone the discounted price without hassles of entering codes or remembering what email they ordered with before. In case no one noticed, the price is $250 (+$25 if you want the enclosure). So the originally posted price was greatly reduced.
The user manual was updated to include enclosure assembly instructions that @goldmyne99 put together. Thank you! He also put together a quick firmware update document that is available on the MicroP25RX firmware page.
Yes. 40 GPIO pin connector. Thanks for catching my error. No biggie, but the updated instructions mention the 20 pin GPIO connector. Shouldn’t that be 40 pin?
Thanks. That is fixed. No biggie, but the updated instructions mention the 20 pin GPIO connector. Shouldn’t that be 40 pin?
Thank you for the orders everyone! Just ran out of MicroP25RX With Enclosures Option. If you order the MicroP25RX Without Enclosure Option now $250, you will be able to order an enclosure later for $25. If you want to wait, I will be ordering more enclosures shortly.
Todd,
What size microSD card do you suggest?
Thanks
Steve
Regarding the needed micro SD card size.
I tested a 1G, 4G, 8G, and a 128G micro SD...because that is what I had on hand.
The files being stored on the micro SD card are small.
That should work fine.As far as cables go would this one work from Amazon
