Indeed! Not much need for de icing thaaaaankfully. Ugh I hate winter more each year :)

On a semi unrelated note, anyone know if BC125ATs are decent scanners? I'm looking for something cheap, PC Programmable, and capable of receiving the AR20 and other mil air frequencies. I think this might fit all 3 requirements.

Thanks Howard. I did some research and it looks like although it lists for around $125-$150 at the lowest, it would be well over $250 here unless I did some more digging. That was just a quick look about prices though. I'll maybe try kijiji.

Cleared for contact at 2011Z. Comms on AR-20 primary 341.750.
They passed my location (CYQI) and headed to Halifax.
Lots of fuel flow issues...thinking of launching the Alert tanker from Bangor.

They had fuel flow issues. Even with tankers pumps off they were still seeing pressure in the E-8. They apologized profusely hehe the JSTARS is gonna fly to "Banger" and refuel on the ground. Looks like we are going to get two cracks at the same E-8 in one day.

Wow didn't know there was another one too. Soooounded like, and I'm guessing, the E-8 was the problem not the tanker after they ran their diagnostics.

I picked one up a few months ago to replace a older handheld for use in my truck to and from work. I liked it because I can use it for a backup milair radio. Nice unit and the software is easy to use and program from your computer. Only problem on the milair band is it cuts off at 380mhz I believe. Other than that it is a really nice radio for the buck. Audio is nice and loud for mobile use inside a car. I bought mine from radio shack online when it was on a special sale price. I think you would be happy with it.

Thank you Chris. I'm going to have to go through my frequency list for ones in that 380-400 range to weigh what I'd be missing. Otherwise it does sound perfect.
