Still great though! I caught them one other time a few years ago, they were under a very high overcast. Couldn't miss them. Man if I had been home today with the scope coulda grabbed my favorite shots ever. They were connected as they passed Halifax.

AR20NE Res Monday morning 1430z-1545z FL210-230
Late morning odd time course days are much longer now :)
I'm guessing it is the usual SHUCK80H E-3B 79-0003.
Headed up the East coast now.
There was a BOBBY flight near Virginia, but they headed towards Alabama.
MAINE85 (59-1446,KC-135) is up now 1450Z
I give up guessing...too many tankers and reservations at this time. lol

Sure enough, watched them for several mins through binoculars from my desk. Very visible. How about a B-52 shot when you have a sec?

Bit off topic but cool video of Air traffic over North Atlantic.
Lots of contrails up your way course the nutty global warming comment as well.
Few years back used to be many conspiracy comments about the contrails were secret poison gasses etc.. never ends LOL
Watch full screen mode if possible.. No wonder Gander is so busy..

Has anyone been able to get planeplotter sharing working with Eastlink's Maestro (Arris MG5225G)router? The issue is it's not accepting connections on the port I put in the menu (port 9742/30003) .. I've called them and they said port forwarding is supported by the router but it's an advanced care (read $$ based) support.. Grrr.

I've been booted from my MU status because since they installed Eastlink it's been local data only. I thought I'd ask here before asking on the Yahoo Groups page. If anyone knows why this doesn't work please let me know..:
Inbound Port Type Private IP Address Local Port
9742-9742 UDP 192.168.0.9 9742-9742
30003-30003 UDP 192.168.0.9 30003-30003

Edit:

Disregard.. In my typical fashion I got something working within 15 seconds of posting to a forum in frustration after trying for an hour. Pretty sure the 3003 was never required but I'm afraid to remove it :D

On a related note...I've lost my Master Users status as of yesterday (like a lot did) because I never switched to Dump1090. I've got it running fine locally...but they are saying it's still associated with RTL1090 despite my making a few changes in the program and router. I'm sure it's just a little thing I'm missing. I'll figure it out when I get home.
I pity anyone who doesn't have a whole lot of patience trying to get PlanePlotter running without pulling their hair out. Not the most user-friendly program. (But I still love it!)

Ahh ok so I picked a good time to switch ISPs. I saw your request for su on the group and was wondering. They replied to my reinstatement with the same - I need the dump one. Apparently it's more accurate for MLAT. We'll see. Hope it's true in our limited user scenario.
