GOLD 71 KC-135 departs Dover 1012z
1022z TABOR 21 sounds like a single ship reports MARSA with GOLD 71.
Looks like they went east offshore Mass at 1055z

There were two Fighters and they were A-A on 298.300. They were discussing alternate bases nearby which were Greenwood and Gander. I assumed they would be headed my way but appeared to go due East.
(The freq has been associated with F-16s from 169th FW...just a guess)
They also used the Coronet freq 349.700.

CLEAN11 Flight 1705Z

CLEAN11 / TABOR61 flight is with Moncton Center at headed SW @ 1705Z. Discussing when to break up the flight.
Should be 5 F-15E Strike Eagles headed to Red Flag.
They eventually landed at Bangor.

Just got around to reviewing the 'tapes'. Seems one of the Strike Eagles had a hydraulics Issue and requested Bangor 'string the cable'. He even mentioned diverting to Greenwood AFB (closest base with arresting gear). I haven't heard what the final outcome was but I suspect they all made it to Bangor fine.
Luke (from Bangor AND Greenwood) just informed me that Bangor is not equipped with arresting cables. The plot thickens.

Pretty sure Bangor has them for emergencies like above given all
the years USAF fighters stop there.. Maybe not ready at the time but even foreign bases
that handle fighters have portable setups in case..

Did you get two groups today or just the first group?

I agree. That would be odd not to have that when they host so many fighters.
Yes, two flights...TABOR61 and 71. They should be departing tomorrow.
