I'm guessing another COBRA (same altitude as the last).
Otherwise...PEACH/SNOOP.
Time will tell. Either way...bound to be boring.
We need Bombers or fighters. :)

Here's a pic (of my cam's display, sorry) of the KC-135 and E-8. Not bad considering I was home alone with our 6 month old daughter hehe.

Good stuff!
You did better than me... because of a cabling mix-up (zero comms), I just missed them as they passed by in the clearest skies we've had in awhile.
Better luck next time.

Thanks for the heads-up. Looks like it's going to be another early morning before I head to work Saturday. Weather not looking the best in my area for tomorrow so I can rule out a visual. I've been tweaking my radios for days waiting for this to happen.

BORA/CUBE Flight Eastbound

As anticipated, BORA11 (AKA HOIST82, KC-135R, 79-1949) and BORA12 (KC-135R, 62-3564) are refueling a flight of 5 F15s (CUBE71-75) over Nova Scotia. CUBE75 is air spare and will be RTB soon.
The second cell with the remaining fighters is approximately 30 minutes behind due to tanker technical issues.

I think you're right. I wrote him when I first detected them a bit ago because of their heading toward him, got no reply though. Wake up H! :)

Can hear PEACH68 and RCH151 ON 341.750 right now in AR20. Also SAME40 doing a strange figure 8 pattern. He may be waiting for AR also.

Yeah logged some odd callsign tankers up from MacDill the other evening supposedly related with refuel of Buffs on a Bermuda track.
SKIT 08,09 both from MacDill. Possible STRATCOM power exercise..

NYAIR1;

Indeed, as Mark stated, we did have DOOM21/22/23 with SKIT08/09 pass overhead.
You're correct when you say things have been quiet on this forum lately.
Honestly, it's not due to a lack of traffic. In my case it's just that I'm barely able to find the time to post because it seems the action always seems to happen while I'm working.
I do check this thread often and try to respond if I can add anything more to what has already been said.
On a related note, tomorrow could be a banner day overhead. Rumours abound that the US will finally attempt to make the transatlantic flight with several F35s to the UK. They should be flying from Luke AFB but probably staging on the East coast by now (MCAS Beaufort / Pax?) and I'm expecting they will follow the route that the Italians and Dutch took when they flew theirs overseas.
A follow-up flight of F22s are also expected in the UK this week.
Dust off those Coronet freqs...could be an interesting week.
