1126 269.475 WARDOG 1 flight wkg ZBW, trying to contact DEECEE 21, then MARSA with DEECEE.
1129-1316 238.250 DEECEE 21 and WARDOG 1 flight coordinating AR within YANKEE MOA. Along with refueling boom comms on this freq, the WARDOGs used it for pointing out targets, conflict and de-conflict of their ACM within Yankee MOA. This is the normal Yankee MOA freq used by many units during ACM within the MOA.
1125-1351 266.600 WARDOG flight A-A on common 104th freq used up to, within, and on their way to land at Portland, ME (KPWM).
1330 282.200 WARDOG 1 working ZBW, complete in YANKEE 1&2 looking for VFR looking to descend to 3500 ft. over the water then back into Portland.

1318-1430 266.600 WARDOG A-A on their way up to Yankee MOA and within during ACM.
1332-1417 238.250 WARDOG and DAGGER coordinate, conflict/de-conflict in Yankee MOA.

Note* No ATC comms as the scanner that records them was hung up on a birdie during the time all this was happening!

Nice log Ed. Yeah you may have missed my morning post today as caught the Ravens headed up that way
towards NH.I missed the Wardogs yesterday but prob thought they were heading to Duke MOA instead of Yankee North :)
Ravens did mention A/A about another possible flight come Thursday as well up that way.. Not sure. Its is sort of a last hurrah for those guys as in a couple months may be all disbanded...
Will try and keep ear out tomorrow am.

Fyi --

I can imagine the damage to everything soaking in saltwater for 2 weeks.. Instant wire and everything else corrosion.
Would be better served a new build fleet replacement then spend hours and hours rebuilding the entire ship
and still would be questions.. The Ramstein C-130J though was a good save though after 5 years :)

Thanks Mark. I did miss your post, sorry. Last summer they did the same. They rotated flights to come up and play. I still don't know where the DAGGERs came from. Possibly they flew out of Pease but I have not heard of any spotters reporting them there. Without my ATC comms, I can't answer that. Hopefully tomorrow will yield better results.

Yeah radio conditions are good hear them talking to Lakehurst tower nice and clear (aircraft side only). I am picking up the ground side of both Atlantic City Radar 124.600 and McGuire Radar 126.475 loud and clear.

Ed,

Maybe the Daggers are from 7th FTS (T-38s) at Langley?

Maybe Ron, that would explain why I didn't hear their A-A as I wasn't scanning Langley freqs.
DAGGER is also used by the VT ANG F-35s. Were you montoring their A-A freqs ? I checked the LiveATC archives in the area during that time and while I did hear WARTHOG 1 entering and exiting Yankee I couldn't find any DAGGER flights working ATC ? Any chance you can share some of the comms you caught on 238.250 ? Might help ID the type ?

I'll check the recording again tonight. I always record their most common A-As but not the entire slew of VT freqs. I don't remember hearing that distinct F35 radio sound. Thanks for trying to solve who they were. I'll post a link to recording later this evening. Unfortunately, I'm at work right now.
